Lost Finale - Spoiler!
I enjoyed the last episode of Lost. OK it raised more questions and didn't answer many of the questions from the last 5 years or so of the drama, but that's the whole point, it is drama! It's not real life, it shouldn't explain every single thing, our lives do not depend of knowing every single answer to what was created by the writers' imagination, I say, get over it, move on, it's over.
The article below from the BBC by Entertainment Reporter Kev Geoghegan says it all:
"At 0500 BST, about......

Fela! the musical
So last week I was checking flight to New York. Why? Because I wanted to watch a show on Broadway, Fela! The musical which has been receiving fab reviews. But thankfully I found out that the show is coming to London National Theatre in November. I can't wait!
I have never been so excited about a show! OMG! I love Fela's music. The guy was a legend who sang about oppression, corruption in government, he was happy to face harassment, persecution, imprisonment for the preaching the truth.
I was far too young......

Mad Men Season 3: The English Have Landed
Some dramas are laugh out funny and some are so cleverly written with such subtle humour that you can't tell exactly why they are so funny. Mad Men, the multiple Emmy and Golden Globe award winning drama falls under the latter. Take for instance, in the first episode of series 3, a Londoner newly resident in New York declares:
"We're near the UN, so there's plenty of Africans."
OK, difficult to explain out of context why this ignorant sentence is remotely funny but it resulted in my partner and I looking at each......

President Obama wins Nobel Prize 2009
OK, maybe not quite entertainment news but what the hell. I love the guy like anyone who has followed my blog knows, so I can shout this through the roof top!
Well done Mr President!

My hero, happy birthday
As much as I miss MJJ (don't you dare say you don't know or remember him) I am tired of people trying to cash in on his death. I miss him loads and would exchange all the LIARS in the world to have him singing and dancing, looking after his children. They will not even let him rest or be buried in peace, for goodness sake, let him be!!!
Why is it that, when people leave our lives, we recognise their worth and want to cash in on their fame. Michael,......

Michael Jackson's doctor posts message on YouTube
The doctor at the centre of the investigation into Michael Jackson's death has spoken publicly for the first time since the singer died.
Dr Conrad Murray, who was with the star when he suffered a cardiac arrest on 25 June, posted a video on YouTube thanking his supporters.
In the short, one-minute clip, Dr Murray said: "I told the truth and I have faith the truth will prevail."
He has not been named as an official suspect in the investigation.
However, court records have identified the 51-year-old as the subject of a manslaughter enquiry and......

Big Brother is Watching...Not!
For the first time ever in years, I am not watching the UK's Big Brother. I have watched every series since the second series, which makes it 9 years of watching tripe. School report: TMHOgirl must do better.
I feel oddly liberated and continuing on my word of the day, I couldn't even give a shit about it. I don't even bother to read anything about the current bunch of desperadoes some clever pushy TV producers have decided to thrust into the public for our consumption.
Does anyone still give a shit......

Because Michael Jackson is Michael Jackson
Unless you are living in another planet, you should probably know by now that Michael Jackson is dead. Even that sentence alone does not make any sense.
Yes, shit happens and we're all going to die, but as my 7 year old nephew said showing his understanding of my sister's explanation of death, but not Michael Jackson, not his hero.
Talking about heroes, how can one man touch so many generations so very profoundly? How can his death unite all of us in mourning? And true mourning? Mourning that saw my mother crying,......

Michael Jackson Dead
Stunned.
Devastated.
Crying my eyes out.
Rest in peace brother. There can never be anyone like you ever again - not in my lifetime, not ever.
Misunderstood but we understood you.
Sleep tight sweet one.......

Cold Porridge & Cold Baths.
So today (this evening) the 10th Big Brother begins with Davina McCall hosting. What will be the latest trivial thing will they do to keep us enthralled and engaged? Wait for it, cold porridge and not able to have a hot shower or use the toilet for a few days. Where do they engineer these stupid ideas, do they just think we the public will be excited about the contestants fertilising the garden (nitrates in urine and other minerals will help the soil)? I think not and do we care?......
